Employee Spotlight - Ubaldo Espinal

Ubaldo is a warehouse Stocker at the Allentown facility. He has been with the company for 16 years, and his job entails working in a safe and efficient manner while also coaching others with his experience and making sure the team is doing their best jobs so everyone else can do theirs. Before joining the team at Novo Building Products, he was a forklift driver which is what he has been doing now for 40 years.

Being at Novo Building Products, Ubaldo takes pride in doing his job the best he can by helping his team and order pullers get their jobs done every day. When asked what he enjoys the most about his job at Novo Building Products, Ubaldo mentioned that his favorite aspect is the people he is surrounded by. “I do my best to help everyone and you feel that respect and appreciation when others are helping you in return.”

When Ubaldo finds himself enjoying free time, he likes to spend most of his time with his family, especially his grandkids. He also enjoys gardening and breeding birds. When asked what his favorite place in the world is, he mentioned his native country, Dominican Republic.

“It’s where I was born and raised until I came to the United States in 1982. There is a lot of diversity, beautiful places to go, and a lot of history there.”

Overall, Ubaldo’s time at Novo has been great and he has thoroughly enjoyed his time with the company. He is very admired by his co-workers for his hard work, and the Allentown facility is fortunate to have him on their team.
